I haven't posted in several days, sorry about that......I have been busy trying to work on DT stuff, getting ready for vacation and getting ready to move! The first two are not that hard to prepare for, but the moving part - definitely hard! Not just because I have to pack up 14 years worth of "stuff", but because it also means the ending of one life and the beginning of another. The divorce has definitely been hard on me, but selling my house and moving from somewhere I have lived with my family for so long really gets to me. Things won't ever be the same and I can't go back.....moving forward is the only way to go. I have told myself that I was ready, now I don't know. I guess I'll take it one day at a time. :)
Now on to happier stuff..........this is a card a made a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post. I used Mama Kitty and Simon from Clear Dollar Stamps. The sentiment is also from Clear Dollar Stamps, it's called Formal Sentiments. Aren't these kitties just the sweetest? I colored them both the same color as my cat, Sammie, using my Copic Markers. The color combo is PTI White, Wild Wasabi and Cool Caribbean - I don't remember the name of the DP, it was just some I had in my stash. The ribbon is SU! striped grosgrain and is some of my absolute favorite - I have tons of this because I'm afraid I'm gonna run out! haha I used lots of stickles around the edges of the cardstock and oh my, it's soooo sparkly!
Have a fabulous Wednesday!

After browsing Amy Rysavy's blog this morning and reading one of her posts and seeing that gorgeous new tattoo she just got, I felt compelled to show you the tattoo I got on my leg about 3 weeks ago, this isn't my first.....it's my second and surely won't be my last. It is about 3 1/2" in height. Yes, it hurt and yes, I love it!
Sorry things are hard right now, but they will get better. Been there, done that, and I am now happier than I ever thought possible! It will come-best wishes!

Kendra, I left my husband of 10 years about 4 years ago and it was the toughest thing I have ever done. The guilt was the hardest to get past as we have a beautiful daughter. But now looking back and how happy I am now, it was the best thing. The first year is the hardest but it does get better...besides, you have your cards!!! Hope that cheered you up! Be strong!

What an adorable card! I love those kitties! I'm sorry to hear about your changes. That is never easy, but good advice you're giving yourself...to take one day at a time. I hope the move goes smoothly for you...or as smoothly as can be expected. {{{Hugs}}}

Hi there, am new to your blog and just wanted to say your cards are beautiful. I hope to see many more of them when you get settled in your new place. Divorce is tough but you seem to be a strong, resourceful kind of gal and your creativity will help get you thru it I'm sure! Hugs all around

Hey Kendra! Wow...where have I been? I had no idea you moved (blog)! And had no idea you were moving (home), divorce, etc. Change can be so incredibly difficult....but it is also what makes life interesting right? Love that tat BTW! ;)

Great card! Glad you "found" it and shared.
Sorry about the divorce but sometimes change is good.
You can tell your tatto is new...still a little raised. The coloring is beautiful on it.
I have one tattoo and don't plan on ever getting another. Mine is HUGE (takes the whole upper portion of my back) and was done all in one sitting. Four hours later...I was ready to get out of there and NEVER come back! LOL.

Way cute card and some beautiful art on your leg, too, Kendra. I can imagine how hard the move and all the rest of the emotional upheaval must be on you. One step, then one day at a time. Take care of yourself.

I hope that everything goes well, something is definetly waiting for you, that'll be better than where you came from. Gotta go through hell sometimes to get to Heaven. I went through the same about 3 years ago, it was hard, but now...I'm so thankful. I deserve the happiness I have and you do too!

Very cute tat! They do hurt like a son of a gun, don't they?? Anyway, hope all goes well with your move. The ONLY and BEST way to go is forward instead of dwelling on the what-ifs and what coulda-beens. You're in my thoughts girl. Thanks for being such an inspiration to us all!
