MFT Day and some Paper Piecing

Yesterday was actually considered "MFT Day", but I didn't get this posted until the wee hours this morning.........All of us at MFT celebrate what we call "MFT Day" on the 20th of every month, you just upload a card or project using your My Favorite Things stamps....It's just a day to have fun and play with those adorable headless images!  The stampset I chose is the mini "Happy Mother's Day".  Check us out in the Splitcoast MFT Forum.

I absolutely love to paper piece and this set is a dream to piece..........I cut out the flowers and the pot and popped them up on dimensionals.  I used Liquid Pearls for the centers of the flowers.  Sure paper piecing is time consuming, but omg the 3-d effect you get is super amazing!  Her dress is American Crafts polka-dot DP I got at Hobby Lobby, everything else is colored using my Copic Markers.   I wanted to use some really rich colors for this card..........the Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Lovely Lilac combo...........gawwwgeous!! 

I have another card that I have been working on using some supah sweet Gina K. Designs images...........so check back in the next day or two.   I have the day off today, so I am gonna relax!
